A Fine Day for a Wedding (Dress Shoot)!

This month’s feature for Style Magazine, a publication of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, http://sarasotaheraldtribune.fl.newsmemory.com/?pSetup=sarasotaheraldtribune_style was SO much fun and resulted in some beautiful imagery!  We went with the shoot, at the majestic and historic Bay Preserve, www.conservationfoundation.com/weddings_events.cfm,  though there was an 80% rain chance and it was mid-July (meaning?? steamy temps!!) . The team, especially model Sarah, was game and up for the adventure!  Despite the nearly 100% humidity, rain and just plain hot conditions, we had a great day, shooting dramatic dresses on a lovely, playful, leggy model who knew how to work it and make it all come together, never “sweating” even a moment.  The last shot shown here (watermarked) was not used in the feature  – just wanted to toss it in because I love it!  Special thank you to Kim Russo for your assistance and vision.
